Wedding Photographer FAQ

Planning your wedding is one of the most exciting, overwhelming, stressful and fun times of your life (woah that's a lot of emotions in one go), so it is fully understandable why you may have questions for ALL your suppliers.

Now I can't be the best help with your other vendors, but I can be with any photography related questions you may have.

So here is a list of some of my most frequently asked questions which hopefully will help answer any queries you may have.

How long have you been a wedding photographer?

I've been capturing those special wedding day moments since 2017, so a total of 6 years now, and I've loved every minute of it.

What made you become a wedding photographer?

Ok, simply put? Because I love LOVE! Each part of the day comes with its own emotions and experiences and I am here for it. How often have you been mesmerised by looking back at your parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles photo albums? That warm fuzzy feeling you feel when you get to relive special moments and see how happy they were? That's what I want to recreate for you and your family. I want to help you cherish one of the most important moments in your life and encapsulate it forever.

How would you describe your style?

I would describe myself as a light and airy photographer, with an unobtrusive, authentic and romantic approach.

Do you offer albums?

YES! As beautiful as your images look in digital format, nothing beats seeing an image in print. So yes I offer an array of wall art, albums and something called a triplex to help make those images come to life.

Can we chat before we book?

Absolutely! I offer a no obligation consultation to all couples (no matter what package you're looking at). This can be done in my purpose built home studio (which is a great place to check out my wall art and album samples), or if you're a little further out we can always chat on zoom. This makes sure we all feel comfortable with one another and are happy to work alongside each other on your very special day.

Do you travel?

Yes, I will happily photograph your wedding wherever you need me, however travel fees do apply if your venue is further than 20 miles from my home.

What do your packages include?

This will vary depending on which package you opt for, but all will include ceremony coverage, bride & groom portraits and family shots after your ceremony. Other packages will also include Bridal Prep and Reception coverage.

Each package does have a max hour coverage.

How much do you charge for extra hours?

If I am needed longer than the designated time, I charge £95 per additional hour.

What if you haven't photographed at our venue before?

That is absolutely not a problem! I always research venues if they are new to me but, if the time allows, I am also very happy to meet you at your chosen venue to discuss your favourite aspects and to find out why you chose that place.

What is your favourite part of the day?

That is a tough one and impossible to answer because I love each part for different reasons. Bridal prep is all about the excitement leading up which is so fun to be apart of. The ceremony itself, well it's why we're all there, and in that moment you can genuinely see how happy the couple are. The reception is where all the fun begins, all the worry and nerves have disappeared and everyone is ready to celebrate YOU! So with that much happening in one day, how can I just pick one?!
