Sit down and get ready for a wild ride through an explosion of colours, sweetness, and pure joy as I take you behind the scenes of a recent cake smash session that was straight out of a fairytale. As a child photographer based in Birmingham, West Midlands, I have the privilege of capturing some truly special memories, and let me tell you, this one was no exception!
When mum got in contact and we began finalising the theme, she was torn between rainbows or dinos, as these were little Harriet's favourite things, so we threw caution to the wind and said lets go for both!
I got planning and created a set decked out in pastel rainbows and dinosaur balloons, a vision brought to life for the most adorable little girl you ever did see.
The stage was set, the cake was primed, and our lovely little munchkin was about to go on an adventure like no other! Cake, rainbows and dinos? Sign me up. I couldn't wait to capture every messy, marvellous moment!
The little star of the show did a cracking job! Harriet needed no convincing to get stuck into the cake at all, all whilst having the sweetest smile you ever did see! Mum opted to bring their own outfit for Harriets messy fun, and I just adored the yellow daisy dress.
As the session was wrapping up, I was just blown away by all the happiness I captured through my lens. The colours, the laughter, the pure joy - it was a beautiful session to be cherished forever. I ended the session feeling honoured to be a part of capturing this moment of fun for the future.
